Common Buying, Tooling, Material, Quality, and Commercial Questions

Quoting and project setup

What do you need in order to quote a project?

The fastest route is a drawing, 3D file, sample, or clear part description together with expected volumes, material preferences if known, and any information about the application or assembly requirements.

Can you work from a sample if we do not have drawings?

Yes, in many cases we can start from a physical sample, although the accuracy and speed of technical review usually improve when drawings or 3D data are available.

How quickly do you respond to enquiries?

Our target response time is 1–2 business days. More complex projects may require a staged response where we first confirm feasibility and then revert with technical or commercial detail.

Tooling and production

Do you build moulds in-house?

Yes. Our toolroom supports new mould manufacture, maintenance, repairs, and modifications.

Can you take over existing moulds from another supplier?

Yes. We support tool transfer projects with review, inspection, trials, and production restart planning.

Who owns the tooling?

Tool ownership should always be defined clearly in the quotation, supply agreement, or tooling contract.

What production volumes can you support?

We support projects ranging from development-stage work through to repeat production, depending on part design, tooling, material, machine fit, and demand profile.

Materials and technical support

Can you help choose the right material?

Yes. Material selection can be reviewed around durability, environment, appearance, assembly, compliance needs, and cost.

Do you support over-moulding or insert-supported parts?

Yes. We assist with components that use inserts and can support CNC turned component requirements for over-moulding applications.

Do you offer assembly or packing?

Yes. Depending on the program, we can support assembly, sorting, kitting, packing, and supply-ready delivery.

Quality and logistics

How do you manage quality?

We use controlled production processes, inspection discipline, tooling care, traceability where required, and documentation aligned to customer needs.

Can you provide documentation for procurement or supplier onboarding?

Yes. If your procurement or quality team needs supporting documents, send the list and we’ll advise what is available.

Can you ship to multiple sites or staged deliveries?

This depends on the project and commercial arrangement, but staged dispatch and customer-specific delivery planning can be discussed.

Commercial questions

Are minimum order quantities fixed?

MOQ often depends on tooling, cycle economics, setup time, material, and packing requirements.

Can you sign NDAs?

Yes. If confidentiality is important, send the NDA with your enquiry or request ours.

Do you support new product development as well as repeat supply?

Yes. We can support new parts entering production as well as existing parts that require stable ongoing manufacture.

Need a manufacturing partner that thinks beyond the next run?

Send us your drawing, sample, or tool details. We’ll review the opportunity and recommend the most practical route to production.
